Welcome to Japan

 こんにちは Konnichiwa!!
日本へようこそ Nihon e yokoso!!
I've touched down on Japan yesterday and had been occupied with some administrative stuffs and the settling into my turtle shell for the coming 3 months. It was nice sleep yesterday night after the flight and the weather here is superb at 16 degrees Celsius. It is also less humid here as compared to Singapore, as such now, being someone who is pretty used to the humidity in Singapore, I'm having a some itchy skin now. Time to moisturize myself up!!

After having the local breakfast and exploring around the area today, I decided to come back to this little area of mine and write down something, just before I go for my lunch and meeting later on. This will be a post that is more "leisure" and consists of more photo to do their talking. It's a nice walk here.

So let's start with my flight:

JAL flight to Tokyo
I've my flight booked from Japan Airlines, a flag carrier airlines from Japan. I'd say that having been on other planes (excluding budget airlines), the entertainment system on JAL is slightly boring compared to the ones on Cathay Pacific/Singapore Airlines. The choices of show/music are rather limited and mostly in Japanese.

Food from the supermarket
Their supermarket and convenience stores here has many many many things for sold. A wide range of food can be found in such stores. It looks surely nice, and doesn't cost very much at the price of 463 yen about S$5.50.

Local Breakfast in Japan
Streets of Japan in the morning

Exploring the world has all along been something that I love to do and I'm truly grateful for the opportunity granted to explore Japan. Will be updating more in time soon!!

  2. Hi Sleepydevil,

It's nice to be in Japan. You should also try sushi and sashimi while there. They are fresh and good. Continue to write back and post photos as well. Cheers.

    1. Hi K,

A little bit now.. I'm having lessons here to learn Japanese as well! Hopefully, at the end of my program, I'll be able to communicate in Japanese :)
